How does it run + simplicity

Featured Replies

Hey all,

Recently got my FSX + NXG running perfectly and don't want to sacrifice any frames really so I've opted out of more advanced airports etc.

I saw this addon and it looks amazing but...

Does it effect FPS at all?

And also, as a brand new NGX pilot will it overcomplicate things for me? I.e when running tutorials will running this in conjunction with learning the jet cause me issues?

Thanks :)

Hi Luke,

You should experience no perceptible frame rate hit.

FS2Crew is not a heavy graphics style program... heavy graphics are want eat up frames more than anything.

Over-complicate: In some ways it will make it more complex because you have to fly in a realistic way, whereas previously you probably flew the wrong way.

In other ways it makes it a lot simpler because the FO does a lot of the work.

Cheers,

Hi Bryan thanks,

I don't want to give myself too much to learn at once - Can I use the addon simply for things like 'gear up, gear down, flaps 5, speed brake' etc - I understand the product does a LOT more than that, but whilst I am learning the aircraft I'd like to just use the addon for simple things.

Thanks
