FS2crew pmdg 747 Question ?/

Recommended Posts

Hi this is me second product i have bought i really love the 737ngx voice commander that is why i bought this pmdg 747 voice commander. I don't know if this work on the pmdg 747x i really don't find a big different it just has an x at the end . But am wondering is this anything like the 737 ngx voice commander? Like for example does the FO power on the APU an stuff or do i have to do it manually . Because on the 737 ngx you can see the fo doing tones of work like for example power on apu setting the correct setting as describe in the manual . But i notice that this fs2crew 747 voice commander didn't come with much of a tutorial like the 737ngx did . By the way i have my order number in case you guys need it to confirm my purchase i just made it today . When i start in the cold an dark panel i press start but you can't hear the FO doing nothing i mean the aircraft is like completely off. I really don't know if that is how this product is , that you have to power on the apu yourself an all that stuff. I mean i can't expect the FO to do it all for me but i can learn the proper way of handling this big aircraft if i see the FO doing all the stuff you need before start an stuff like that .

So is there any different from the pmdg 737ngx voice commander from the pmdg 747 voice commander . I mean they have to many difference but my point is does the FO start all the panel an stuff like that for example apu an all that ????

Hi,

The FO does only 2 things on the mcp & center pedestal during preflight. He turns on FD on his side and switches autobrake to RTO. Everything else is done by you.

And no the FO cannot set headings, speeds, altitudes, or frequencies.

Yes, this version is very different than the NGX, but it is still good to fly.

The tutorial and manual can explain further. Have a good flight.
