FSX aerodynamic failure. (optional fixes)

Featured Replies

Just don't expect any of those heavy aircraft to be realistic in stall 'behaviour' within FS or X-Plane.

Right to the point of the thread in my eyes.

Why do people, including me now :Just Kidding: , bother to respond to these trolls?

If you like FSX good on you, if you do XP, great. If you fly both, even better.

Hold on a second. You have tried PMDG NGX or their other aircraft, but now is not the time to buy them? Would you mind clarifying...? How did you manage to test them fully, if you don't own them?

If you think there is something wrong with those simple models from Microsoft or Posky (since they don't have a real aircraft simulations, I believe they take most from MS), you are completely right.

Any serious simmer wanting a real performance is going to get RealAir, PMDG, A2A aircraft...

Euhm where did I say I used the PMDG? I havent said that. I said I've read about them just as seen in your quote of mine. Like READING just like I read the positive commentary of this aircraft from you guys.

I mentioned Ifly myself. I think if im gonna buy a good aircraft it's going to be PMDG anyway.

And it's clear to me that stall behaviour in this sim is just out of the very few ordinary things.

I'll just follow the aircraft manuals and FAA rules and maybe on one hypothetical day i'll find it out in a level d simulator or in real life.

I think some folks already pointed out that even the level D sims may lack of detail when it comes to the edges of the flight envelope. As for the (FSX) sim, I think it's reasonable if devs focus on the main operating range of their addons. You don't get this or that fancy 737 to stall and spin around, but to fly her close to rw procedures, which don't include that much at or below stick shaker speeds.

I gave a link here, allowing a view on e.g. the NGX philosophy, reflecting that operating range envelope thinking. Anything outside of that may be wasted dev time and effort for an airliner addon. The GA dev folks may differ a bit.

Humm, I'm sorry, I must have misread. I was sure there was something else there. You know how these things are... but that brings me...

If you ever decide, I believe these aircraft are as real as it gets. They have nothing to do with default FSX performance and have their own engines in the background for virtually everything. FSX is use more or less only as a frontend, a display, if you want.
