You sure you're airplane is patched to ver 1.10? Had the same issue with mine, when I patched it, all worked fine!
-
Nobody? FRED
-
Could the devs please explain to me how the components in this aircraft accumulate time? In the A2A B17, you start your flight and when you shutdown the times are added to the motors and the rest of the components. I have a sneaky suspicion this is not quite the case with the NGX and I seem to remember that there is a panel save step involved as well. Since the FS2CREW QRH module release are imminent I want to make sure I fly the NGX and building time on the components correctly! FRED

I think that lonely oke at KSEA might have been me :-) It's my 'circuit training' base :)

Set speed runaway since update v1.3 (and still in v1.4)
c402_cvs replied to BigRick's topic in Voice Control Version
I also get this runaway now with 1.4. Only use it on final though so for me a disco the AT and handfly if that happens. -
Bryan, Check your PM's, I already asked you another support question there with my real name. That was PEPKAC though so sorted but I refuse to post my real name in the open forum.
-
What's the procedure regarding this? n the checklist the FO asks and the only response that works is 'armed' although I would suspect you do not do this for circuits. What do you do?

FSX aerodynamic failure. (optional fixes)
c402_cvs replied to AirtankOmega's topic in MS FSX | FSX-SE Forum
Why do people, including me now :Just Kidding: , bother to respond to these trolls? If you like FSX good on you, if you do XP, great. If you fly both, even better. -

Whats with all the split/duplicate posts
c402_cvs replied to HiFlyer's topic in Help Using the AVSIM Forums
yeah, they are everywhere. Something she's broken :D -
I hear you on the enforce part, maybe a language problem on my side since I'm actually afrikaans so do not know the correct phraseology for what I was trying to say. The point is, more often than not a thread about some or other topic degenerates into an argument about name signing and goes completely off track. That's annoying, even for you I would take a guess. Maybe the reason the mods have not been deleting posts is because they do not see it as that important, but then again maybe not. If it's so important to you then PM the person and inform him about the rule privately and keeping it out of the orignal thread will stop it from going off track. He can then choose to follow it or not and the mods can do with his posts as they wish. FRED
-
Duh!! So leave them to do their job and if they choose to ignore this rule, so be it, again, not your job to enforce ti!!!
-
It's not your job to enforce the rules, period!! It sidetracks almost every thread on this forum. If the mods do their job and everyone else keep to the topic this place would be much friendlier but as it is now, finding information is sifting through tons of irrrelevant crap, mostly about people not signing their name. I would go as far as saying to scrap this stupid rule anyway, I would guess more than 50% do not even use their real names anyhow!! If they want support from the devs they need to log a ticket, it's THAT easy!! FRED
-
And every second poster is a wannabe moderator who thinks they need to do the mods work for them. For pete's sake, show me ONE thread where at some point it has not decayed into a 'sign your post' and 'why should I' flamewar. It's annoying as hell! Leave the mods to do their work and concentrate on the topic at hand!! FRED
-
It's not a matter of just doing it without Airbus support, it's rather a question of if Boeing will allow something like this, personally I doubt they will. FRED
-
Taking PMDG's relationship with Boeing into account I highly doubt they will ever do a Scarebus. FRED
-
Thanx Bryan, had the same problem. I manually advanced the program to the next section when this happens.
-
Cool, how high is their pitchfork stacked right now though? Are we going to see this anytime in this century still? I'm eagerly awaiting their 732 and a King Air would go down nicely indeed!!!

Few sound issues for me here. What I do not like: The startup sound loops too quickly, ie before you reach 12%, it starts looping around the 10% mark. If you pull the props into reverse when you pull the condition levers to cutoff you get the reverse sound at full blast until the props stop spinning. (not a biggie this one) I get a oscillation like someone is stepping on the rudder on final when I lower the gear. (Not an axis problem since there is zero spiking and it's working fine in everything else I use it with) The VC is too clean, it needs some dust and nicks and scratches ala the NGX. What I do like: The woah woah sound when the props are out of sync. I think it's the first time someone captured this in FSX. External model is to die for, as expected from Carenado.

yeah, FS2C is in your face kinda immersion while GSX is in the background which you don't really see (except for the pushback maybe) unless you look at the plane from outside. I have both and enjoy both but truthfully my primary role for GSX is to get pushbacks done correctly, I hardly ever do any of the other stuff unless I take screenshots.
-
Still the same for me too. I just goto view menu in FSX, instruments and select the FS2CREW main panel. You can assign a keyboard shortcut also to bring it up but I am not sure to which function you bind it, it's in the manual though.
-
The FO's switches will always be in the correct position since he does actually 'look' at them in the game. Your flows is the only one there can be discrepancies with and even then the FO should pick up if there is a mistake, so essentially you do not really have to look at them to check the correct position. Like someone said already, welcome to airline flying, it's very ver repetitive and boring until the day things start to go wrong. Until FS2C supports emergencies this utopia will have to wait.

I had a similar thing happening coming into Vancouver yesterday but not a bug, rather an ops issue on my side. VoxATC started me down late and thus I was high on approach and thus got a tad busy. On short final I was still not at flaps 30 and called the final checklist. Kudos to the FO he did the list upto the flaps and actually said to me "Waiting for the flaps" or something similar (very cool indeed actually) When I did get to flaps30 I was not sure how to proceed, beginning the checklist again or should the FO continue on with the checklist on his own?!?
