Hi all,

 

My icon to open main panel only works in 2d cockpit view, when i switch to virtual cockpit, there is no icon to open fs2crew main window.

 

I uninstalled both PMDG and Fs2crew,

 

I reinstalled PMDG with sp1c

I reinstalled FS2CREW with sp1 and reenabled voice control,

 

I installed as admin and disabled uac, edock disabled

 

load flight with trike aircraft and 2d cockpit,

 

not sure, a little lost here

Still the same for me too. I just goto view menu in FSX, instruments and select the FS2CREW main panel.

 

You can assign a keyboard shortcut also to bring it up but I am not sure to which function you bind it, it's in the manual though.

This is a known issue that affects a few users, but it's out of my hands. Hopefully PMDG will resolve the issue in their SP2.

 

The work-around to assign a keyboard/joystick button to open the Main Panel, and use that while in the VC.

 

From the manual...

 

 

You can also assign a Keyboard or Joystick button to open and close the Main Panel.

 

• To create your "Toggle Main Panel" assignment, create a joystick or keyboard button assignment for 'AUTOFEATHER (ARM/OFF)' in the FSX 'SETTINGS - CONTROLS' menu
  

• You can select any Joystick or Keyboard assignment (or both).
  

IMPORTANT: Your PMDG 737 NGX

cannot

use the same key assignment for any PMDG 737 NGX Key Command function, or the Main Button will not work!

 

So, for example, if you use "C" as your keyboard assignment for the Main Button, you cannot use "C" for any PMDG 737 NGX KEY ASSIGNMENTS.
