  1. How they doing with the F4? That still going to happen?
  2. I apologize if you perceive it as such but when my tickets gets closed saying it works I must assume PMDG do not regard it as a bug! That and your silence here on the forum all points to this.
  3. I logged a ticket for this since I have the same problem. I was just told to reset the failure and it would fill the tanks. It obviously didn't. I get the feeling PMDG do not regard this as a problem at this stage.
  4. Subject says it all!If I buy RC4 now will I have to pay full price for 5 again or do I just wait?!?
  5. Calling V1 coming up on a intersection with my scooter if the light might change yellow.
  6. Is there a way to assign keyboard commands to the HAT switch of a Saitek Pro Yoke with joytokey? I could not get mine to see anything generated via the HAT switch.
  7. Considering that the 800 is about 129' or 40m in length, if you look at the top view you should be able to guesstimate the distance for pushback fairly accurately by using the fuselage as a datum.
  8. Well, Simon said in that awesome thread of his, full reverse is not immediatly available since the aircraft wait for the sleeves to deploy fully. This might account for the delay you experience.
  9. Have the same with one button on my CH throttle quadrant. When i assign a function to it, in this case flaps decr, it will also trigger ther gear lever to the OFF position. There is nothing else assignef to it anywherr, I checked. Very strange. I now just do not use that button.
  10. What?!?!? 140 vref is almost a full airplane, come on dude. If you wanna help, at least give some meaningful info! 1/2 tanks and 1/2 load Vref is around the 125kts mark I would guestimate. The right answer is to program the FMC correctly and follow the Vref speed given there. That would start you out nicely. Then it's just technique and practise.
  11. If ever a post needed to be a sticky, this is it!! Thanx Simon for a great read every morning!
  12. Hey ARM505, RogueRunner here, welcome!! I was not aware you upgraded from fluffies!! Lekker man!!! I'm doing JS-CT in Dec, will give you a PM on flyafrica. Regarding this aircraft, I know you are not difficult to convince to get something but I know you will love this baby. Just do not know how much 'relaxed' simming you are doing vs blowing sh!t up in your free time. And as always, great insightful info once again!!
  13. Isn't thrust increased to 27K also? FRED
  14. When using TOPCAT for take off calculations with the 800 the v speeds given by the FMC in the aircraft is about 10 knots faster than that given by TOPCAT. Anyone know why that is? Weights and temps is the same but the N1 limits are usually spot on the money. just wondering. FRED
  15. Dude, here in my neck of the woods we do non precicion approaches ad nuaseum, I know how they behave in real life and it's not like this!!!!FRED
  16. I hope this is being looked at for the SP. I just tried an approach with a NDB as the MAP. It was impossible to know where I was in relation to it due to the wild fluctuations. Very frustrating!!FRED
  17. Carenado makes pretty aircraft, that's about it. They know zero about fidelity modeling ala PMDG and A2A. FRED
  18. I think the failure system is kinda a mystery to the devs as well judging from the amount of feedback they give on it :( FRED
  19. Another topic gone to hell because one self righteous user is playing moderatorIf for starters he just said 'click here for 2 sec' and discussion was over in two replies.FRED (how do you know this is my real name anyhow?!?)
  20. I've read somewhere that because of the high fuel price some airlines CI is very low, below 20's. For some reason 12 springs to mind!! I read the list posted and it is quite interesting. Wonder how up to date it is. FRED
  21. Don't you think that's a little pedantic Teo? I also do not see anything wrong, then again I fly from inside the cockpit 99.9% of the time :( FRED
