Have to agree, many people use FS2C as a keyboard substitute, also guilty in some regard but generally I try to use him as I would in the real plane.

Had the same issue. I opened wordpad, started Speech Recognition (open control panel and type speech in the search bar on the top) and then started saying on and using 'correct that' everytime it was wrong ad nuseum. It's still not perfect in game but much much better

Are you a pilot and more importantly, do you fly large passenger aircraft?I was a commercial pilot but flew BE200's mostly. I asked the question in the ngx forum also and was advised you generally like to keep pitch not higher than 20 degrees. Pax comfort I would imagie is one reason but safety would play a big role also. If you loose a donkey pitched that high you can imagine how bad that would be.So, with respect, I might not be correct, but I also think I am not completely wrong here either.

Deck angle. If it's very high it's uncomfartable and scary for the self loading freight. It's not as much rate pf climb but pitch angle.

Frankly, that would not be posible. My problem pops up every now and then only. Configuring reverse thrust for example through the default interface is almost impossible.Secondly, FSUIPC is sooooo wildly used in FSX it should be made compatible, if that is even the problem.

That would prob have to wait till next weekend, since I think you went to bed already and I will be at work during the day when you are awake in the week. I get this early on already with the preflight checklist and starting with 'window heat' If I say on, so reflected on the green bar, he will say are 'you sure about that?' Everything where the response is 'on' he will have a problem with. Now I'm sure ON is displayed on the green bar when I speak so is not the accent thing here and why will my saitek gear, which only controls the yoke, pedals and throttles interfere with those switches?

I get this once every 3rd or so flight. I initially thought it might be that the APU electrical bus did not connect correctly so now cycle the APU bus switches to off first before engaging them. However, problem was back this morning with a vengeance. No funny hardware except TIR and my Saitek controls. I do however ran VoxAtc this time around but in previous cases Vox atc was not used.

Are you okes concerned about deck angle when the airplane is light on take off or not really? What do you do'if you are, lower thrust setting or just let it accelerate past V2+20?FRED

Nope, no problem other than the weird way americans write the date. That confuses the living daylights out of us. We have 11 official languages and I and most south africans speak 2 of them, in my case afrikaans and english. Almost everyone can speak english, except maybe in the rural areas. I've never had my computer set to use afrikaans anyway, do not even know if there is such an option :LMAO:I just did a quick circuit and it was much better, still a little issue with armed and on, but much better than previously, and I think one more go with the dictation procedure will sort that out.

PMDG specifically says NOT to do this with the NGX, ie start the NGX as your aircraft you wanna use from the word go. Tried loading something else first anyway, did not help for me, still no click spot in the VC.I also cannot see the video marshaller but no biggie, never used it before anyhow. Running in window mode BTW.

This worked for me, took awhile, my South African afrikaans accent must be weird for the computer to understand, but I can dictate those words now much better.

Mine refuse to recognize the word 'on' always get 'armed' on the green bar. It's driving me nuts. Any idea how I can train my pc to get it right? Did the voice training but it did not seem to help.

UAC is disabled on my PC but I'll try that.

Ok, clickspot works in 2D panel but not in the VC. THe manual says it should work in both.

Ya well, then I have it right. Like I also said, if I open the panel.cfg I can see the gauge entry so it's there, the clickspot just do not work. I also use Voxatc which also does a panel.cfg change. Some sort of conflict maybe?

I give up now, tried reinstall and another mouse since I use a wireless MS mouse with a zillion buttons but still no go. AAaarrrggghhh!

I have the same problem. Cannot activate either. If I use the keyboard shortcut, the control panel comes up, FS2Crew starts up but the FO is kinda blind, windows heat is on but he says it's off and stuff like that. I can see the gauge added to the panel cfg. Very frustrated at this stage. If it's enabled, should there be a tickmark or cross? If I have a cross and click on it, it says fscrew disabled and then if I click on the tick it says fscrew enabled.

Would be great if I can get the flow here before going home cause then I can print it out, a facility I do not have at home. 4 hours until I leave, please, would that be possible?

Had the same but it seems mine download timed out @188MB, it should be 272.6MBSecond try worked fine!
