I am an older man and for a week have been trying to get the FS2Crew and ABE working but no matter what I do cannot get the configurator in the right folder. What I need is a step by step guide to help me with this problem.

Hi Jack,

 

Copy the new configurator to this folder:

 

Microsoft Flight Simulator X\aerosoft\Airbus X Extended

 

Run the EXE directly from there.  You'll see a new FS2Crew section on the far right side.

 

Make sure the Configurator is not running when you try to copy the new one in.

My Configurator is in the above folder, but I still receive the error message. any ideas please. I have run as admin.

You sure you're airplane is patched to ver 1.10? Had the same issue with mine, when I patched it, all worked fine!

You got to have the latest updates!

The a.m. link provides the latest full installer but not the latest hotfixes. Usually you can get hold of the latest installer when re-downloading from your shop account, as well.
