I've just got some charts and was checking the aerodrome information and runway lenghts for EHAM.

 

The 12,467 ft length you have provided is actually for 36L whereas the length for 18R is 11,581 ft.

 

Just thought I'd make you aware :).

Isn't 18R and 36L the same runway? They cannot be two different lengths. 18R/36L is 12,467 ft.

It can be two different lengths as far as useable runway length on a displaced threshold, but the runway will definitely be the same total length.

So, to answer your point, I'm thinking you're referring to setting up the HUGS, right? I don't think the HUGS needs usable. I think it just needs the total to know how long the runway outlines need to be, but I could be very, very wrong on that.
