BUT, you are going to need a VERY fast GPU to keep up with the incredible data output from a SB@5GHZ. Read Srdan's guide for more info about FSX and hardware.

But I've heard of a quad core AMD chip with a stock clock of 4ghz, which is pretty impressive considering you don't have to buy an aftermarket cooler for it but FSX does not perform very well with AMD chips, just like they do with their graphics cards. April 29, 201214 yr Author FSX does not perform very well with AMD chips Unfortunately I am with FSX. I have Intel® Core i7 CPU X 980 @ 3.33GHz. It was over $1000. Suppose to be, one of the most powerful CPU in market,but not much luck with FSX . I have OC to 4.GMz.Still having problem and today I will go back to manufacturer settings. I have to say, with implementation of Word Not Allowed's tweaks/hardware settings.I am far better than before. Ahmet Sanal "Time you enjoyed wasting, was not wasted"
