Here comes the sun...

Featured Replies

I have been doing a lot of flying at dusk as night falls, and really love the reflection of the setting sun on the water.

Sometimes, there is so much glare that I can't see where I am going!

Best regards.

do.png Hot, humid Caribbean paradise!

Which is exactly what is happening in RL flying at dusk toward the sun...... And the scratch on the plexyglass making things even worse...

So its a nice touch and quite realistic...

P3D when its freezing in Quebec....well, that's most of the time...
C-GDXL based at CYQB for real flying when its warming up...

I was flying at dusk, but it is a little bright for me.

I've been doing cargo runs an hour before dawn, to get the night points, and the rich textures of the landscape is amazing.

It's really 3D in effect.

Awesome! The lighting effects are really stunning in Flight! And thanks for brining up the word 'glare'. I've been thinking for quite some time how to describe that effect but glare is the word indeed. (English is not my native language.) I love it how Flight doesn't simply add shadows (some sort of grey overlay over everything) but really adds LIGHT and hence shadows too.
