Try applying more throttle. Remember, it is a combination of throttle and trim to land hands-free, except for a slight flareup with the stick at the end. This was one of the most important exercises in MSF I ever had. ICON5 at Kona Airport.

I found 36, not counting closed Bellows. Some of the dirt airstrips need a spot on landing.

How to get two GMAP displays on monitor ?

Also, ther seaplane base keeps moving around. Had to follow it with MSF map to get credit for landing.

Nixon Fork Mine(AK40), on MSF, on Satellite photo, but not iconned in NAVAID..oh well,,,

Also, MSF does not show all airports/strips Navaid does. i.e., Medfra(MDR), between McGrath(MCG) and Nickolai(PAFS). Been looking for 30 min, not there. Also, seaplane port near Unalaska not in MSF..grrr...

The Sectionals also lists the locations of cabins !

Took your advise and got Navaid and Sectionals. AEC maps didn't seem to be what i wanted for GMAP, not as detailed and not for low speed planes at lower altitudes.

I notice they 'do' two different things, Which do you recommend is better for GMAP. I don't have paper maps, though that will come eventually. I'm trying to upgrade in small bytes, so i don't get in over my head and not understand what's going on.

Where to you buy these charts for GMAP?

First, big ups to J van E for all his great contributions. OK, re NNE direction, I find that when I start flying, it straightens out to show correct heading. Try turning your plane here and there to get its attention. Hybrid WAS working until yesterday, now it is the same as satellite, so it's not just you. Don't laugh, maybe it's due to the solar flare going on right now. messing up GPS.

I added a second monitor, my extra flat screen tv , using HDMI cable, to my HP laptop. I made the tv my main monitor. MSF works there under pseudo-screen mode. GMAP, email, etc on my laptop screen. Task bar shows on tv monitor.

Fixed now,thanks to tweaks/fermin@fswidgets and you guy's patience and help. Made ini file, put in wrong folder. when I re-did it in right folder, left as txt; changed to ini. OK now.

Appreciate your patience and help. All is well,works as described. Now I'm trying to register the GMAP upgrade, Nav Data to show airports, etc, Under Win>All Programs, FSWidgets doesn't show, except as the free start program, so I don't get registration dialog, but I'll figure it out.
