This one should be interesting. The picture that goes with this cache looks like a fishing trawler but the description says "in the Alaska wilderness". Maybe it's one of those gold dredges. Hmmmmm. Have to think about this one.

 

I wonder too if the crashed Zero is there?

So much for the play on words. And, I didn't find the Zero. It might be there, but I didn't see it. I won't post any pics this early, as I don't want to publish any spoilers. I think that my pics would definitely be spoilers and I want everyone to have the thrill of the hunt and the joy of the catch.

 

Finding the cache was easy enough so I have to wonder about the 3K ep's for it. I feel like I've done some that were much harder for much less in points. Of course, I don't worry about the points.

Can't find it. and I've scoured the place.

Even tried to match it with photo.

So that's why I didn't see the Zero. They had already flown it away.

 

I thought it was pretty neat that the departure airport was a seaplane base. All I could do was hit the "fly" button. I was on my way. I had a pretty good idea where this one was and sure enough before long it came into view.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And finally I landed back on the island and faced old Red Fish. Think I'll camp here tonight and fly to Anchorage tomorrow.

 

 

Too bad I went around the island the wrong direction. My wife always tells me I take the long way around. But I knew I would come across it sooner or later. Very nicely detailed sea port facilities also!

There is no Zero on the island as the US recovered it and flew it for four years :lol:
