  1. Has anyone seen "the Novawrap, Special Edition." Novawing24 interview with Stephen Hood from Dovetail Games? Very informative. A hint of things to come. Steve A
  2. have it on my ipad mini and it is very challenging and a lot of fun, many different approaches offered and all kinds of weather. yes it is also available for android tablets now. Not as easy as you would think, fly's like a brick! Steve
  3. I have flown many back and forth between Atka and Adak with the C-46. Steve
  4. I used to rent a 4 place Grumman AA-5A Cheetah. It was easy to push back the sliding canopy and close it in flight with no problem. A fun bird, never had a bad landing with that aircraft but boy did it love to float. Steve
  5. Glad to hear form you again Jack. Best of luck. Steve
  6. A beautiful calm night! Steve A
  7. Hi Tom, I had all but one, so I am kind of starting over again for the fun of it. Should be easier the second time around flying with the mouse this time. It is a slippy slope. Using the Flight copy that I had on my i5 laptop. I still have not converted my main machine over yet as I am still reluctant to give up the multiplayer version as it is still going strong. One of these days. Steve
  8. Right you are, restart and they are back. Steve A
  9. I have noticed that some Aerocache markers are no longer in place. One is my own submission of End of the road. The other is Port Allen hanger. Any one else seeing this? These are the only two that I have noticed so far. Steve A
  10. Still waiting for the PC version. Steve
  11. To keep things rolling along. Yes, I did download the steam version of FSX just for the heck of it, won't use it much. But I still prefer MS FLIGHT for the kind of flying I want to do. Just hope they are smart enough to use the FLIGHT engine on their future (in the works) flight sim. Steve
  12. Nice going Tom. I will get there one of these days now, been very busy. I have always been reluctant to leave Multiplayer. Love too fly and talk to people. I can't stand typing in the text block and flying at the same time. But not many people around want or have the ability to talk to these days. Now thanks to stonelance and the ability to switch back and forth I will have to give it a go and see what happens. Steve
  13. Those were the only changes allowed as far as I know. Anyone? Steve A
  14. As I understand it, it is the same old love and hate version of FXS that we mostly already all have. No improvements allowed. Hope for next year anyway. It should be interesting. Steve A
  15. This is on my i5 laptop. I did not have a driver update that I know of. It is odd because only the runways and and hardstands that are flickering like crazy, everything else looks fine. Steve
  16. Works good but all the runways are flickering, that's odd. Did not do that before. Steve
  17. Not really interested. Not what I am looking for these days. Steve
  18. Same here, the non-GFWL version on my laptop will not start after the splash screen comes up. I also had recent updates applied. However, the multiplayer version on my main machine is running currently with eight people buzzing around Lanai Airport when I checked a few minuets ago. Many others scattered around both Hawaii and Alaska. Steve
  19. Great to see you back again Luis, miss your help with screen shot posting. Steve
  20. Nice gathering of yellow Cub pilots on a very cold Alaskan day. The Bridge to nowhere? Not my find. Location if anyone wants to check it out, some nice canyons also A much warmer day in Hawaii Steve Sorry for the double post, forgot to add the location and somehow got a second copy instead of an edit. Steve
  21. Ha, nice job Jack. Hope every thing is going well. Steve
  22. Very nice screen shot set. Yes you need a really tight spiral on the way down to touch down. Took me many attempts. I also walked or fell down, that was really weird trying to climb out again through all the strange artifacts. Steve
