Possible to use CDU function keys with keyboard?

Hi,

 

Is there any way to access the CDU function buttons (i.e. MENU, RTE, EXEC, etc) using the keyboard. I realise that it's possible to hold down the tab key to access the letters and numbers, but there doesn't appear to be a way to do this with the function buttons (except for the PREV and NEXT PAGE, which appear to work with tab + pgup/pgdn).

I believe that would require using the sdk and some programming knowledge.

 

Check the fsuipc/lua forums, someone may have made something similar to what you want.

Since there are aftermarket CDU boxes out there, you'd think there should be a way.

Instead of pressing TAB you can also click on the bottom of the display. A green bar will show up.

Thanks for the replies. I've also posted on the FSUIPC forums, where LINDA has been suggested. I'm looking into that...

Looks like LINDA is the way to go, certainly gives me what I want here and then some...

 

I had seen LINDA in previous searches I'd done, but TBH it looked like another of complexity to add on, which I didn't want to do - however, after just 30 minutes on it I am a LINDA fan.

Boxes send commands through drivers directly into NGX via SDK connection. What you need here is a program that will take some keypress and send the required action to the SDK. Apparently Linda can do this.
