Strange Vibration Over 140 Knots

Featured Replies

Recently noticed when exceeding 140 knots that the plane starts to vibrate pretty bad. Seems to have just started this. I can see this when viewing from the outside of the cockpit as well looking at the plane.

Gear is up, cowl is closed and flaps are up.

Any ideas????

You havent recently installed accufeel by any chance?

Got it guys. The Vne - IAS in Accu-Feel was set at about 126knots. Don't know how this happened but I'm guessing I'll need to change it to like 196 to be realistic.

Thanks for the input.

So your plane still rattles and shakes at some 140 KIAS? :o Do you run any other shaking addons like EZCA?

I got it. I moved the Vne (IAS) to 196 knots, and moved the Vne "Mach" slider all the way to the right. Didn't realize the "Mach" slider had to be moved as well.

Back to smooth flying.

Thanks
