May 18, 201214 yr All from Beech King Air C90T at 25,000, Date: 5/17/2012. Palm Springs mountains and desert floor. Very strange scenery anomaly near Thermal VOR (TRM). Using UTX and REX. Not sure what caused this but it created a spectacular sight. Passing over Grand Canyon Airport Breathtaking sunset nearing Blue Mesa VOR (HBU), eastbound on J128. Dusk, breaking out over Denver area floor at 12,000.
