KSNA to KAPA via J236 & J128, with a strange scenery anomaly

Palm Springs mountains and desert floor.

 

 

Very strange scenery anomaly near Thermal VOR (TRM). Using UTX and REX. Not sure what caused this but it created a spectacular sight.

Breathtaking sunset nearing Blue Mesa VOR (HBU), eastbound on J128.
