May 6, 200422 yr Hi all, is there any functional ILS DME (WES for example at EDXW, or ISI at LSGS) in FS9 or is this navaid type not available at all?Regards, Uwe
May 6, 200422 yr ILS DME is a valid NAVAID in FS2004. It could be that these airports don't have DME associated with these ILS.Try KMCO RW35 (RW35L - if you have updated scenery) 110.50W. Sieffert Bill Sieffert
May 6, 200422 yr And again on the major parallel runways at KMSP. Be aware at this site that the opposing ILSs are on the same frequency and the correct ILS will not predominate until within a few degrees of its beam showing the opposite ones instead. The approach plates vertical profile indicate if the DME is available on the ILS such as KMSP's 12L/R 30L/R.
May 6, 200422 yr Author Hi,To see what's available for a given airport, go to the airport in question, choose World/Map, zoom into the airport, and click on any green arrows pointing towards a runway (or click the runway itself for a complete list at that airport). This will give you the approach type and the frequency used. You must tune the NAV 1 radio manually to use this frequency.Hope this helps,--Tom GibsonCal Classic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.comFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.comDrop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___ Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page
