Recognition light

Featured Replies

Sorry if it's been discussed before, i'm just wondering where is the recognition light on this King Air. Even though i turn the recognition light switch on i can't see any light coming on on the aircraft. Thank you.

They may as well be invisible. If you look at the glass/plastic housing where the nav lights are, they are the lights closest to the "shield" that blocks the strobes from the pilots viewpoint. So you have:

(Nav | Strobe | Recog ||)wing(fuselage)wing(||Recog | Strobe | Nav)

They're outboard on the wings as intrigue (name?) pointed out. You will notice their illumination pattern if you switch them on while on the ground at night.
