NGX Engine Realism

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Firstly, I know the PMDG have been thanked many times , and they are just about to be thanked again, after a small story.

Ever Since i have purchased FSX, in the year of 2008(i had FS9 previously) i have been trying to simulate an Engine failure on Takeoff, and with many addons, this has failed. I have taken off, with say, THE CLS A330, and, the is just not enough engine power(i am not hating against CLS here, lets make that CLEAR ), but, i simulated my first problem with the NGX a few days ago, from Hobart to Melbourne . V1 was called, and then Engine 1 failed. But i must say, the realism is spot on!!! The aircraft continued to fly, on , admittably a smaller climb, with less "violent" monouvers. I managed to land it with success.

I would just like to say thank you again to PMDG for this, becuase, we all know after V1, an aircraft can continue to fly and land safely, otherwise there would have been lots more incidents, take that Thomson 757 at manchester a few years ago

LIKE I SAID, I AM NOT HATING AGAINST ANY OTHER FLIGHT SIM DEVELOPERS,i understand the CLS line is "F-LITE" and so not modelled with as much detail, but i did just want to say thank you again to PMDG for having this feature...
