NGX and FS2Crew from scratch

Featured Replies

Captains,

An overall question. I am seriously considering jumping in the NGX experience. And also considering getting FS2Crew to go along with it.

Should I start by learning the NGX by itself and then adding FS2Crew or should I start right away using both?

Many thanks...

Hi

Good choice.

Some people prefer to learn a plane first then use fs2crew and some think fs2crew helps you too learn. It depends on you.

Maybe take 1 or 2 short flights then use fs2crew if you feel that would be best. Or use fs2 and if it doesn't help just fly by yourself for a flight or two.

Best

I would recommend learning the systems and procedures before using FS2Crew, that way you will know the what and why of what the FO is doing, particularly during the cockpit preflight preparations.
