June 2, 201214 yr Actually, I'd like to see someone do a Piper Enforcer, I know it never really made it as a commercial success, but it was a really interesting development of the Mustang. On the subject of the B/C variants, WarbirdSim do actually do those in one package, and it is really a very good product, flies well and compares favourably with their P-51D in the looks department; some nice paint variants are included, with 357th ace Bud Anderson's Old Crow and Tuskegee legend Lee Archer's Ina The Macon Belle among them: Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
June 2, 201214 yr I agree. I much prefer the looks of the B/C over the bubble canopy D personally :) As a P-51 fan for the last 50+ years, I still like both. If it came down to just one choice, it will be the full bubble D model. L.Adamson
August 12, 201213 yr So it all boils down to whether having to work the engines properly and worry about such things as overboosting, fouling the plugs, over-revving, overheating, cooling shock damage on descents, heavy landings and all that kind of thing is something which appeals to you. Thanks for the explanation! Haven't been able to find a clear "this is what's different" anywhere else.
