May 31, 201214 yr On Wasys you can search by icao code to get the metar once you have the wind direction it's pretty easy

May 31, 201214 yr Wind direction doesnt always determine which runway is in use, for example, things like noise abatement and arrival direction sometimes determine the runway, as long as the winds are within limit of course. If you fly offline then this wont matter of course, the built in ATC is clueless to real life procedures (or even other basic atc services like maintaining separation between aircraft, but thats a whole different discussion) Johan Pettersen
