I must say I am delighted with the look and feel of ActiveSky 2012. I really like what I have seen with this programme.

 

Tonight I went for a flight on VATSIM using the VATSIM Online weather. Just my luck, after a 30 min preflight and taxi sequence, the thing decides to reload 'Depection Mode' right on the take off roll. As you could imagine, choppy frames.

 

Are there any tips on stopping a load up on take off or landing?

 

I guess I could switch off Automatic donloads, but you wouldn't have the change in QNH or wind.

 

What are the best setings for online flying?
