FS Build and the NGX

Featured Replies

If you are a 737NGX driver who only has FSX on your PC and uses FS Build for flight plans, are you able to export your plans to the NGX? If so, can you tell ne how, please?

I had both FS9 and FSX on my machine and was able to use FSB plans in the NGX FMC. In order to create more disc space on my D drive I decided to uninstall FS9 as I was no longer using it since the NGX arrived. Since then I cannot save plans to the NGX. I wasn't able to save plans at all but with the help of the FSB forum I can now save them as FS pln files. I can then note the waypoints and input them to the FMC.

Bur I'm mystified as to why I can't save them directly and I hate mysteries. I'd appreciate any help anyone can give.

Have you entered the FSX path in the FSBuild Options screen?

Johan Pettersen

Check your FS path is correct and then select the PMDG 737/747/MD11/J41 (MSFS) option in the "Export To" menu, you will have to do this each time you load FSBUILD unless you change it in the config file.

Yes, I sometimes exceed 250kts below 10,000ft! Imagine that....

Hi Johan and Richard, thanks for your replies. I did all that and tried it and still got an error message but I've just tried it again and it's now working ok. So, problem solved! Thanks.
