Wilco 737 Evo memory leak?

Featured Replies

Near the end of a flight with the 737-300 Evo by Wilco, FSX halts with the message that there is not enough memory left to run the program. I also get strange visual artifacts (missing doors from the outside view and such).

Might this be a memory leak? Because I haven't had problems with any other plane so far, from the simple ones to the overly complicated.

Can you help?

Thanks in advance

Normally that's a RAM issue yes, but often one that is more to do with a complex add which eats up a lot of memory in FSX causing RAM dumping issues, rather than any specific aircraft itself. But with Wilco, it's not unknown for some of their coding to be a bit ropey, so I wouldn't completely dismiss that as a possibility, although to be fair I've not had any issues with their 737, nor indeed with any of their add-ons to be honest, although I know some people have. One or two of them have been known to clash with PMDG installations, which might be another avenue to investigate. PMDG posted a fix for that issue a long time ago.

Thanks, Alan. I think these issues were due to a corrupted dll.xml, but mine is ok. Hm. Will continue to google this issue...
