June 15, 201213 yr Hi Everybody, i have just purchased the 737 NGX and already i have a Problem, in the VC mode my mouse will not zoom, which of course is very important. Does anyone have an idea what iam doing wrong? Thanks in advance for your help. Mark
June 15, 201213 yr The mouse wheel is used to rotate switches ect within the VC, im not sure by what you mean by zoom?. If its your view your looking to zoom the + - keys along the number row on the keyboard will "zoom" your view. thats my best guess although im sure someone else on here could shed further light on the situation for you Chris Stanley
June 15, 201213 yr Author Thanks for the quick reply but in the manual it says "use the coolie hat on the yoke and the mouse wheel to zoom in and out" but the mouse wheel does not work, and the space bar just applys the hand break. This is quit frustrating because i was hoping to not have to use the keyboard as much as with other addons, How to you guys zoom in and out when adjusting things in the VC mode?
June 15, 201213 yr Shift-O iirc is the default mouse look, but you need to turn it on and off everytime you want to click something, I have a button on the joystick and or yoke to do just that
June 15, 201213 yr At the moment i use the +/- keys if im not running EZCA i have the hat on my yoke set to look around though.Have you tried mouse yoke mode to acheive the functionality your looking for? ie right click to bring up the fs menu and selet mouse yoke, im not familier with this mode at all but it may be what the manual is reffering to. which particular panel are you struggling with ? as many have 2d popups that can be brought up via key commands shift+6 for example brings up a 2d overhead.
