May 17, 200422 yr Hi. I suddenly started having this strange problem with excludes. For example, the Switzerland Pro scenery contains exclude BGLs for all default arifields (they are repositioned to make them compatible with the scenery). This is done using an exclude BGL for each airport. The actual runway and airport objects are moved, but the flat area around the airport is not. This creates craters, plateus etc. where the old airport used to be. Very strange and annoying.I have messed around with the scenery.cfg, terrain.cfg and fs9.cfg files recently but even after restoring the originals, the same problems appears.Anything I can try short of reinstalling the entire FS9 and all sceneries/aircraft/utilities?Pics:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/76515.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/76517.jpg -

May 18, 200422 yr Author OK here's what I did today:Uninstalled EVERY SINGLE FS addon including aircraft, sceneries, mesh etc. etc. etc.Removed all the config files (My Documents and Application Data).Uninstalled FS9 itself.Installed FS9 clean from the CD.Added ONLY Switzerland Pro - and the problem is still there. Going to install it on a second machine tomorrow but I'm 99% these problems were not there before.Bsically it seems that FS no longer excludes flattens for default airports, even when you tell it to completely exclude a default airport. It also leaves elevation of lakes visible in the mesh after you exclude them. The only thing I installed recently was the VFR Terrain for England and Wales but the problem is there even after removing it.Is there any other place where FS2004 stores stuff, other than: My DocumentsFlight Simulator Files and Application DataMicrosoftFS9 ? -
