FeelThere ERJ135 GPU won't engage

Featured Replies

I want to engage the GPU so I can save my battery but I can't do so unless the battery is on. I then check my electrics and it show the batteries being drained and the GPU 0.0. Someone help

Try the folks at the feelThere forums they helped me in the past.

Alternatively if you have FSUIP did you know it has an unlimited or extended battery setting?

I posted this on FeelThere support forum. Waiting for a response. Even the tutorial flight goes right into starting up the APU instead of using the GPU.

Let us know how you go, I never use the GPU but would be good to know.

The documentation is quite sparse compared to the detail they have implemented.

I posted this on FeelThere support forum.

really? where? the only post refering to a GPU in the past two days (or two years) had to do with a graphic card problem.

I want to engage the GPU

apply parking brake.

wait about 60ish seconds.

GPU will be available.

most ERJs are used in quick turnaround situations so the APU is used, not GPU.

I apologize about the feelthere post. I posted a ILS landing post not anything to do with the GPU. I applied the parking break waited 2 minutes, then his the GPU button. Waited another 2 minutes and never came on. Light only comes on when I turn the battery switches on and then the aircraft uses the BAT Voltage instead of Ground Power.
