June 21, 201213 yr Finally after years and years of flying on my old machine (sig specs bellow), Im getting a minor upgrade to: Windows 7 64bit MSI P-55GD65 Mobo i5 750 2.66ghz, going to overclock to 3.4ghz 4gig memory EVGA Nvidia GTX 560 (PCI EXPRESS BABY!!!!) Should I see a significant improvement? I hope so. Now to back up all my 128gigs of Fs9 stuff on drives Asus Tuf Gaming Plus B550 - Ryzen 7 5800X3D - Asus GeForce 4080 RTX OC Edition - 64GB DDR4 (3600Mhz) - EVGA 850W Power Supply - 2X 1 TB NVME PCIE gen 4 - Windows 11 (25H2)
June 21, 201213 yr i am loving fs9 at super speeds, I use fs9 for IFR and FSX for VFR. You will see a big improvement in everything. Like I said before in other posts, MY FS9 setup with all my payware addons looks better than my FSX setup. My FS9 also looks better than X-Plane10

June 22, 201213 yr Smooth for sure... Since the day I upgrade my system to the current below, it was soo smooth that sometimes I feel boring because I'm already used to the lag and low fps which makes my monitor zic zac feeling  Hoang Le i7 13700k - Sapphire Nitro+ AMD RX 7900 XT - Asus TUF Z790 PLUS D4 - Gskill Trident 32GB DDR4-3600 LG 34GP63A-B Ultrawide - ASUS VG259QM MSFS2020
June 23, 201213 yr Hi! I still run my Fs9 with a Geforce3Ti200 AGP card which I have to turn the fan by hand for a minute to get it started every time I boot up! I'm happy with my FPS and dread having to reinstall my Fs9. Anyway congratulations on moving to PCI-Express. I'm not really that up to date with todays components but it sounds like your system should run great! Many thanks, Pierre
