Holy float planes Batman!

Recommended Posts

The PBY Catalina on display at the Alaska Air Museum has metal skin damage where it was clawed by a bear!

I've spent hours and hours wandering around the shores of Lake Hood...endless vistas of floatplanes (and landplanes too). Was a great vacation trip.

I loved the Grumman Goose that was parked there.

You are going to be very disappointed when you visit Lake Hood. I think it is even worse than the FSX default.

That's very disappointing. I had high hopes for Hood Lake as it seems the be the very hub of Alaska bush flying. What are the chances that some of the textures and airport scenery could get updated over time? Was there any scenery updates to Hawaii?

Who knows? I wouldn't bet on it anytime soon.

AFAIK Nope, at least none published.
