Hi All.I am thinking of downloading Ken's file, but I wondered if someone could please tell me what exactly it does, and can it really start those ''ended progs'' back up again afterwards, to be honest I wouldn't have a clue on what I should ask F'S Autostart to ''Stop Running'' in the first place, thank you to anyone who takes the time to advise me on this, I realise it might be back to basics for some of you, so fairly simplified should ensure that I follow what you're saying, thanks againSteve.

It's brilliant, don't hesitate. It's really quite self explanatory so you won't have any problems deciding what to stop and it really does start everything up again. It made a substantial difference to the PMDG 737 for example, much smoother and better frame rates. Many thanks to Ken for this.John

Just keep in mind that no matter what you do, nothing is permanent and a simple reboot will restore everything back.As to what proggies to kill, I can't tell you since I don't know what you run on your system. However, the program does provide information about programs and services running on your system, and I'm sure either myself or other forum users can help you decide.

Thanks Guy's.and cheers Ken,Steve.

Ken,One question, I terminated many services and was able to run FS2004 very nicely. However, squawkbox began to run very slow. Any idea what services squawkbox might be using?ThanksShez

I can't get Real World weather to download. I am ONLY closing running applications, the Interent connection is fine if I Alt-Tab and try a browser. If I close the apps manually RW weather downloads.
