Realair Turbine Duke anomaly

As you can see, I have a problem with the residue of a previous paint showing up. The rest of the paint is OK, it's just the VC view. I've checked out the alpha channel and there is nothing left over. This is using Realair's official paint kit.

 

If anyone can point the way for me I'd be very grateful.

Look at the specular... I am guessing this is an FSX model.
