July 3, 201213 yr You know, in TIR, we're supposed to uncheck the Trueview checkbox on the Profile tab, and in the TrackIR srttings in EZCA we check the Transform XYZ checkbox. Well, if I do that, my cameras don't work, that is, I can't shift my eye point up, down, left, right, forward or back using the buttons on top of my Saitek yoke. However, if I leave the Trueview checkbox checked, it all works nicely. I'm not an 'advanced' Ezca user, I like the shaky business and the ability to shift my eyepoint, but haven't gone much further than that. Can anyone tell me why my functionality seems to be at odds with the norm? Best wishes,
July 4, 201213 yr Hi Phil, You have answered a question that's been bugging me for years using the trueview. Thankyou. I cannot answer your question but thanks anyway. The support has stagnated in the EZCA forum unfortunately. Dave Taylor
July 5, 201213 yr Author 270 + views, presumably EZCa users, and only one comment, many thanks G7USL, who has the same experience. I was hoping somebody might know where I'm screwing up. I take it everybody else is following the EZCA manual and getting the expected outcomes?
July 5, 201213 yr I always use true view with ezdok, I prefer it over the other ezdok option. David DD David
July 5, 201213 yr Author I prefer it over the other ezdok option. Thanks... what 'other ezdoc option' would that be please, not to use it and get no cameras?
July 5, 201213 yr I don't have your same problem, sorry I should of said that before. One suggestion I can give you is to make sure you have Admin. permissions for Ezdok and TrackIR. I still have other problems with Ezdok, like being able to save the global gain settings. Unfortunately the Ezdok forum does seam dead! David DD David

It has to be done so that EZCA controls trackir instead of FSX.
