Ok guys, I need some tips on flying the C337

I just got it and you open the plane and...woh...tons of stuff. I need checkride info. Help!

Well, I was digging around and found some notes on the C337 from a RW owner...checklists and procedures. In the middle of it I found his procedures for flying patterns (see below). A bunch of other things...steep turns, stalls, stalls in turns, instrument approaches, engine out patterns. Not sure if anybody wants it. I pdf'ed it for myself. 7. Normal Visual Circuit

DOWNWIND

 Speed 140 KIAS

 Power 25" / 2400 RPM

 Approach checklist completed

ABEAM-Landing Threshold

 Timing 3 sec/100 ft

 Flaps 1/3

 Gear down

 Speed 110 KIAS

 Power 25" / 2400 RPM

BASE LEG

 Power 20" / 2400 RPM

 Flaps 2/3

 Speed 100 KIAS

 Before landing checklist completed

FINAL

 Power 17"/2400 RPM

 Speed 90 KIAS

 Flaps Full

SHORT FINAL (VTgT Headwind component 10 KTS or less)

 Speed 85 KIAS

 Power as required

 Propeller levers max. RPM (below 15")

 Mixture Fully rich

Hey Gregg. Have a good look around here as the guys have come up with lot's of things to make her better. I have Turbo'd mine and it makes for a much better aircraft - their was a real life Turbo model so it's OK :Whistle:

Go back to the main page for the C337H and look down the list for the topic "T337H" you will find all that you need there.

 

See how you get on there.

 

As for fuel burn ... Yes, there is lots of it :P
