Opinions on the upcoming Carenado T182T?

Featured Replies

Hi everyone.

Has everyone seen this thing? I have a few Carenado products, but I don't have a dedicated "trainer" aircraft, and this looks pretty good.

I've never touched a G1000, but since no one knows how complex this rendition will be, ATM I'm not worried about a lack of G1000 knowledge. Seeing as this is the rendition of a type that I have flown (and thousands of others), I might just get it and repaint it in local flight school colors.

So does anyone think it will be worthy of saving for a few weeks?

I'd wait and see until it comes out. Flight 1 has a T182 with the best G1000 you can get for flightsim (along with the citation mustang) if your looking for a good g1000. I mean we will see when carenado releases theirs but until then it's anyone's guess.

I've already got the Flight 1 Cessna 182T, and inspite of being a bit tough on frames for a GA, as you'd expect with something with that glass simulated accurately, the Flight 1 simulation is very good, so any other stab at the 182T would have to match that for avionics simulation and then beat it on frame rates for me to consider it.
