The problem with these performance increases measured in FSMark11 is that they are not really relevant to my normal FSX flying.

 

Where I really need the performance is at EGKK with everything maxed in the NGX. At the moment I get say 17fps. The 10% improvement I would get by buying a 3770K and GTX680 4Gb and moving to water cooling appears to be worthless. Why spend all that money for 17fps to 19fps.

 

The leap in performance from the 920 to the 2600K was far larger.
