June 1, 200422 yr I have just come back to CO from the SFO Bay Area, and noted that the grass colors there are gold, compared with green in CO (although that won't last long, our 1 month of green grass :) ).FS2004 has the same green grass textures as does CO. Is there any way in which to change this in FS2004 to reflect the varying colors between the two regions? Thanks,Bruce. ASEL, Instrument. KBJC, Colorado.
June 2, 200422 yr Greetings Bruce!"(...) I have just come back to CO from the SFO (...)"Might as well be on one of the planets around Proxima Centauri, for all I know (grin)! CO? SFO? Be well!Jaap Verduijn.
June 2, 200422 yr Hello Jaap,I'm pretty certain by CO he means Colorado USA, as in the state of Colorado. That is where KBJC airport is located, also known as Jeffco, or, Jefferson County Airport. And by SFO I think he means San Fransisco, California USA(KSFO). Let me know if I'm wrong here Bruce!Regards,Jim

June 2, 200422 yr I meant to answer this yesterday...MSFS uses four dates to change textures--they correspond to the seasonal date changes in Mar, Jun, Sep and Dec....Having lived in the Bay Area many years before moving to the desert, I'm pretty familiar with our green hills in the winter and yellow summers. Usually they change to yellow as early as April and as late as May, and back to green between late October-early December, depending on the rains.Problem is, since seasonal textures change from spring to summer in June in the MSFS world, the two states will normally be in synch.... -John
