REX Essential Question

Featured Replies

Is there a way to open REX Essentials without having it go through it's weather download process. I exclusively use REX for its wonderful cloud textures and then use AS 2012 for the weather engine. I can't seem to find any options in the menus that allow me to do this.

Cant you go into the REX E, configuration, weather and disable REX weather engine?

You might find what you're looking for under the 'weather engine' section of 'configuration manager'.

Disable the yellow marked option and there will be no weather download. Be aware that if you want to have weather dependant textures, you will need a fresh or archived set of weather data though.

What was I...blind I guess. Thanks for the answer, especially CoolP who took time to include a picture. I am an old fashioned kind of guy who believes a picture is worth a thousand words.
