Guys,There's a message in the Letters to the Editorial Staff forum from a US Soldier in Iraq, thanking AVSIM and the community for all of our contributions to the hobby. I found this pretty incredible. They would probably appreciate hearing a few kind words. This post might get pulled, but had to do it.Todd

Why would it get pulled? It would not even matter if an Iraqi soldier thanked Avsim and the community. This is a place where people everywhere can come together in united by our wonderfull hobby. Why on earth would we pull it??? The message has to do with fellow flight sim enthusiasts expressing their thanks to the community and AVSIM and who happen to be in a war zone where we add something positive to their daily lives. I think that is an incredible statement about our hobby and our online community here, and I am glad to see someone acknowledge that letter in this forum.
