Continue with AS2012 after finished flight

Featured Replies

I have a question regarding the use of AS2012.

Normally you have to load the flightplan and install the textures before starting and connecting with FSX.

However, I was just wondering, say I have finished my flight at the destination airport, and I want to continue with my next flight without restarting FSX. Is it possible to just load a new flightplan into AS2012 without disconnecting from FSX? Using this method it's obvious that you cannot install the textures as FSX has to be closed for that.

If this is not possible, can I just continue my flight to the next destination and will AS2012 display accurate weather along the route to my next destination even if there is no new flightplan loaded into AS2012 (and the old one is still active)?

Yes, you can simply load a new plan, refresh, and carry on...
