Display Window Key cmd

Featured Replies

Can't get the "Display Window" key command to work. I've had no trouble in past using Ctrl + Shift + W. I tried changing the command to

CTRL + Shift + R but that combo doesn't work either. BTW, I did check to make sure that these commands were not already assigned

to an FSX function. Other commands (ie. Co-Pilot Comm toggle, etc) are working properly.

Any ideas on how to get the Display Window command working ?

Thank you,

Please see page 134 in the RCV43 pdf manual. If you have a separate paid registration FSUIPC you can set it up in the hotkeys tab of FSUIPC.

If not and you can use ctrtl-x add the example to the General section of FSUIPC.ini after backing it up to a safe copy:

AdvDisplayHotKey=88,10

works for FS9. It might be different for FSX and should be described in the advanced documentation that was installed with FSUIPC4.

If hidden the will appear on its own when a new menu list occurs ( an ATC command ). The hot key assignment will also toggle the window back on.

Thanks for the tip Ron. I set up the Hotkey in FSUIPC and all's well with turning the Dispay Window on and off.

The Display Window has always worked normally before without the FSUIPC Hotkey. Sort of puzzling as to

why this has changed but I'm certainly happy for the remedy.

Best regards,
