Struggling with finding places in Alaska, it being so big and me being from the shire....

And my new Cub being so slow :-)

Is there a succinct list of the places/airfields in Alaska that have been well implemented?

Just where is Unalalakaleet?

There was a thread started for flight plans etc, but it didn't seem to go anywhere?

I probably should install plan-G etc, but I like to keep it simple with just a paper map.

 

I do have a list of the 120+ largest airfields in Alaska (oddly doesn't include Barrow) which I've turned into a printable map in Excel, but I don't know which are good in Flight. Guess there's only one way to find out....

Thanks, I'm tracking down those points of interest right now.

Also discovered Barrow is now called Wiley Post–Will Rogers Memorial Airport.

Not convinced about renaming airports, seems to me it should be obvious where an airport is from its name, for safety reasons if nothing else....

Agreed, Keith. They renamed Nottingham airport Robin Hood airport..
