Best 757/767 and 777 panel?

Featured Replies

Which panels are the best? Kinda miss flying these planes in FS 2004 :-(CheersJohan "Whats VNAV?!?!" Adolfsson

Yeah, I'd like to know if someone is building a payware one. Too bad PMDG couldn't redo their 777 for the Fly! series to work in FS. It was amazing. I haven't even heard of anyone doing a highly detailed one at all for FS. I've tried some good freeware ones but, alas, no FMC and other systems modeling like: electrical, air, hydraulics and all that great data displayed on the EICAS.I don't fly 757-777 much as I'm waiting for a fully functional 2-D panel.I think a good payware panel would sell like hot cakes.Adam

BTW, the Mitchell/Jeanne panel is quite good as well as, of course, Loni Paynes.Adam

I find the Ken Mitchell 757 panel to be the best. It works well and doesnt produce those irritating anomalies you find with a lot of panels.Hope this helpsAdrian

Agreed. Michell panel is quite nice.Alex M.

I've found Tony D'Ambrosio's Top Avionics 777 (v.2-2004) panel (Shareware/$15USD) to be great. It has a functioning FMS (not of the same quality as PMDG, but is quite adequate) and is frame rate friendly. You will need to download NavData since RealCRT utilizes it's database to diplay navaids/airports.(I personally use FS Navigator to build a flight plan, and utilize the NavData export module which ReatCRT can read)I think you get a 10-day evaluation period to try it out. Once you register, you can use BOTH the 777 and 747 Top Avionics panels, no futher registration required.http://perso.wanadoo.fr/tony.dambrosio/RealCRT.htm...as for 757/767, LP's for sure.

I'm right there with Hawkeyeted, Tony's guages are worth the money to me, and his panels are not cluttered, but pleasing to the eye and very user friendly. His guages can also be used in Roy Chaffin's and other authors' panels as well. Infact Roy has just come out with a revised version of his classic A320 panel (which I prefer over Eric Marciano's), as well as a new A380 panel for FS9. Roy's work is here:http://www.roychaffin.com/rcs-panels.html Some, may begrudge paying for these guages, but it all comes down to personal preference and I love his guage package. I've had them for 7 or 8 years now, so they're not that new although they have been tweaked and reworked over the years to comply to FS9.Regards,Tom Stewart
