I know this topic has been posted before but I havent seen any real solutions. My ATC sound is barely audible even with other sounds turned down. Any reason for this?

Another reason is that I'm guessing all of your sound is being squeezed through your speakers. The best situation is one where you have ATC coming through a headset, and the sim through your speakers. While it's true, in the real plane, you could select the ATC to go through the speakers and hear everything through one channel (like you're hearing ATC and the cockpit sounds through your one speaker channel), the sound environment in the plane is different. Pilots in larger planes also generally have an earpiece at the very least, which puts ATC right in your ear, instead of mixing it with all of the cockpit noise.
