Hi Folks. I'm trying to Install FSX. The first disk downloads fine, but everytime I reach the file scenery/world 045B2sp2.bmp, of the second disk, the whole thing just freezes and will not download any further. Is there anything I can do to kinda jog the install past this glich?

Try loading the first disc again and this time choose to remove. If there was a glitch and it had gotten far enough along to not allow a re-install, it will not load. Removing files manually or with the add - remove programs will not work without going into the registry and manually removing files there. But, if it will let you remove by using the disc, it should remove all files. Reboot and then try a new install. If it hangs again at the same point, you probably have a bad disc. Before doing any of this, make sure the discs are clean and have no scratches.
