WideScreen Zoom Level

Recommended Posts

1. Those who want the zoom level to be 100% like real life regardless of what it looks like

2. Those who want a happy medium between real life and also making up the lack of peripheral vision on single monitor setups.

It may also have to do with the airplanes being flown. I, generally, fly GA so the smaller cockpit may be a factor in the equation. Just a guess.

Pray tell. been trying for yrs? CTRL+enter? Compared to shift +?OMG I got it after all theses yrs asking how to zoom outside VC view while mainlining VC aspect. Thanks.

RW,

I use EZCA to do this. I have many views that I use inside the cockpit and assign them to a joystick button. I also use TrackIR. EZCA takes awhile to learn the system but after that you won't see how you lived without it.

I use three monitors (16:9) and zoom factor of 0.65 - 0.69. Seems very close to the machines I was sitting in, the fisheye effect at the very end of side monitors is noticeable, but I have more peripheral vision that way.
