Many Thanks Rob The metering panel serves no function other than showing the current status of the electrical system. Use whatever settings you would like, whenever you like. I've seen countless different combinations when on real flights.
August 10, 201213 yr Realistically, you would use the panel to check the availability of power before switching sources. Let's assume you're on APU and want to switch to ground power or a gen set. Before switching you want to check that the bus you're switching too is hot and is providing good voltage at 400Hz. Mike
