Yeehawww! I'm the first person to post in the first commercial forum for Xplane 10! I'm gonna be famous!

Anyhow how about we start with a discussion about what DD hopes to bring to Xplane and the areas of the world that will be covered. As someone disillusioned with FSX I'm keeping an eye on XP10 development and all 3PDs that venture into this field bring it that much closer to being a true replacement so this forum is great news. Judging by the screenshot on the Avsim announcement I'd say these guys have a lot of awesome things in the works =).

Thanks for the kind words.

As I mentioned in another topic, we're bouncing quite a few things around. Wilmington was a "test" so to speak, on a lot of fronts. We're really happy with the results. In terms of what we're planning to do geographically, that's a great question. Regional fields like ILM are nice for a lot of reasons. But I do realize that people like "the big stuff" too. We're full-time at this so in the end, nothing is undoable. For now, Europe is a bit of a stretch:) The plan is to push the limits of airport detail and airport security:)

Sorry to hear that Europe is not on the agenda.

Dennis,

Thanks for the input. I suspect that next year we'll do something big. KSAT, KRDU and KCLT have been discussed. You never know:)

Cheers!!

RDU gets my vote on that list. I spent a day there at their spotters deck. What a great place!

Is it done yet? When will it be released? Will it be freeware or payware? How much will it cost? Any updates on the progress? Will it work for Xbox? Can I be a beta tester? How's the performance in VR?
